1. Core functions and working principles
The screw conveyor drives the sludge from the feed port to the discharge port through the rotation of the spiral blade, realizing closed continuous transportation and reducing the secondary pollution that may be caused by manual handling. The spiral blade design is adapted to different sludge viscosities; the shaftless structure can effectively prevent winding and blockage. During the sludge conveying process, the rotation of the spiral blade produces shear and mixing effects on the sludge, breaking up the sludge clumps, promoting uniform water distribution, and laying the foundation for subsequent dehydration/drying processes.
2. Improvement of efficiency and environmental protection
The fully enclosed structure combined with the end sealing device effectively prevents sludge leakage and odor emission. The material of the screw conveyor is 316L stainless steel or polymer coating to resist corrosive substances in the sludge. The hardening treatment of the blade edge improves wear resistance and extends the service life to more than 5 years. The product occupies only 1/3 of the area of a belt conveyor, supports horizontal/inclined (≤30°) installation, and adapts to the compact space of sewage treatment plants; the modular design facilitates connection with dehydrators, silos and other equipment in series.
